When you think Volkswagen, you think Bug. The two go hand in hand like peas and carrots. But Volkswagen made a car that gets far less love than their classic Bug and that car is the Karmann Ghia.
Specifically, the Ghia in question is a 1964 Karmann Ghia. It was originally owned by the current owners great grandmother. Sadly, she parked the Karmann Ghia in a field in Utah and left it there for over thirty years. When her grandson stumbled upon the car, he knew he had found something special.
When deciding to restore the 1964 Karmann Ghia, most of his attention was spent underneath the hood. As for the exterior, he chose to keep it real and embrace the rustic charm that can only be achieved with time. The cars patina gives it character and frankly, it just looks really cool.
