After taking a small break for the holidays, Matt Farah is finally back! This awesome dude is one of the best automotive content creators on Youtube, as he introduced his audience to a lot of truly wonderful custom cars over the years.

The one you’re about to check out today is the glorious 1980 Volkswagen Mk1 Rabbit! Although Germans are known for their supreme high-quality vehicles, the Rabbit was somewhat of a different story. Unfortunately, the steel from which these rides were made was imported from the Soviet Union, and that wasn’t exactly a perfect choice. Due to this costly mistake, we don’t see a lot of Mk1’s on the roads these days, which make them extra special.

However, don’t think that this one was fully restored. If anything, this vehicle is even fairly stock. Sporting a mere 76 horsepower engine, it won’t win a ton of drag races anytime soon, but the aftermarket suspension components ensure that it’s a joy to use, even as a daily driver.
