The video features 56-year old Edmund Burgess who crashed his £250,000 Bugatti racing car at the Leon Blue vintage car event in Winchcombe, Gloucestershire. Mr. Burgess was competing in the Prescott Speed Hill Climb when he lost control of his 1924 Bugatti racing car after the brakes failed.
The car flipped right on top of Mr. Burgess but he was very lucky to have walked away unscathed. He simply dusted himself off and headed straight to the bar to have some beer after paramedics said he was okay. The bad news is that he had to spend two months repairing the hood, the front wheel and scuttle before his classic Bugatti hit the track anew.
Watch the video and see how things unfolded and how lucky Mr. Burgess is to have survived from what appeared like a serious prang!
