Want something that’s a product of some out of the box thinking? Here’s a nice execution of an engineering idea of maxed out insanity level. It’s a 1966 Chevrolet Corvair in reverse body lift form so different it’s sure one of a kind.
This car is one of those builds you’d sure wonder if its only purpose is to look crazy cool. Well, props to the builders as it truly does look one! I guess a Friday night bar talk with a few beers involved can pave a way for a unique and badass idea.
At first glance, this Corvair may look like a Camaro. It has a paintwork, black stripes, chrome bumpers and wheels most custom Camaros wear. It’s neat and straight from bumper to bumper. And a look at the inside reveals a different ambiance with the body lifted while seats still sitting at the chassis as it should.
Going all the way back bares a wicked setup of a Grand Prix 3.8L supercharged V6 motor placed at the spot left by the lifted body. The exposed underside is all polished and there’s some swing out grill and an engine-driven margarita maker too. How crazy is that?
