Every once in a while, we come across one of these amazing videos, showcasing glorious home build engines that simply blew our mind. Trust me, this shiny Chevy Small Block 383 Stroker is guaranteed to blow you away.
When it comes to technical aspects of this creation, this engine rocks a 4-bolt main block with a 6-71 blower, steel I-beam rods, Scat crank, ProComp aluminum heads, Mahl blower pistons and a Howards blower cam. When it comes to blower, we’re dealing here with a Weiand straight rotor 6-71 which runs at 8% underdrive. With just 9 pounds of boost, it runs on 93 octane pump gas. Carburetors where manufactured by Carter Competition AFB’s.
The end results? This fantastic Small block runs like a dream. It ultimately ended up in a 1948 Anglia, which will be driven by one badass 70-year old! Doesn’t he sound like the coolest cat in the world? The only change happened with carbs which were replaced by 680 Holley blower carbs.
