As he was approaching Doran’s Bend during this year’s Isle of Man TT, well, Honda Racing’s Guy Martin hit the false neutral in his Honda SP2 motorbike, resulting in the high-speed crash.

Fortunately for him, he managed to get up shortly after and leave the scene with just the bruised wrist, which is as much as you can hope for after falling off your motorcycle at almost 140 mph (225 km/h).

After watching this crash, you can also see the interview in which Guy Martin is visibly shaken up after what he had to go through.

He struggles to find his words the bit, but explains that he couldn’t make a turn since there was no engine brake as he shifted down.

Following this accident, Guy Martin announced that he’LL not compete in the 2017 Senior TT in the Isle of Man, as reported by the BBC.

And he stated that: We need more time to set up the bike and doing six laps will not achieve what we set out to do.
