Ken Block Gymkhana may become something else in the future. Toyo Tires took the opportunity and signed Ken Block and Hoonicorn team to create the next series of videos featuring the most insane car you could possibly imagine – new updated Hoonicorn RTR. It is the updated custom Mustang built a year ago.

Now, with two massive turbos and an American flag up front the engine in it produces freaking 1,400 hp. That is a lot of power in any way you imagine it.

As ever, it all goes to all four wheels giving the RTR quite a special set of skills no other car can match. Expectedly, the tires on it are from Toyo. Toyo Tires fitted Proxes® R888R™ tires, which, curiously, aren’t available in the US.

Differentiating the new series from the Gymkhana is the place where magic happens. Now, it is called the Climbkhana: Pikes Peak.

So, we will have a chance to see Ken Block hoon the massively powerful car up the Pikes Peak course and shatter every corner in his 1965 Ford Mustang Hoonicorn RTR V2 with a twin turbo, methanol power, 1,400 horsepower V8 engine.

You can expect the video to land in the summer of 2017.
