A man from South Korea embarked on the adventure of the lifetime, which also took him on the famous Nurburgring. We probably would not have discovered his amazing feat and if it were not for the guys at Bridge To Gantry, who met Lee and published his story.
And riding straight from Seoul, South Korea, through all over Asia, Russia, and Europe, the South Korean man traveled 18,000 kilometers over the course of 100 days. If you are somehow not impressed, he did it on the 110-cc Honda SuperCub, a scooter that delivers just 8 hp.
Evidently, a trip that long requires considerable luggage, and Lee carried it with him, on his trusty bike. On the night of October 5, 2016, this guy arrived at the famous Green Hell, was greeted by the regulars of the area.
So, Lee told the story of his travels that is not present on his Insta account, which is sadly kept in Korean. But, we have learned that his fuel tank has the capacity of just four liters, which gives him a range of 150 kilometers. His journey will take him to other places in Europe, we have seen on his Instagram that he has already booked the flight from Paris to Seoul in late October.
We are sincerely impressed by a determination shown by this dude, and so was a German man named Thilo, who decided that the South Korean traveler deserves a fast lap in the SEAT Leon Cupra on the famous Nordschleife.
You can see the onboard video embedded below. And after the thrilling lap in the modified SEAT on the track known as The Green Hell, the guy that calls himself Jaeyong_92 on Instagram took his Honda SuperCub on the world famous circuit. He completed the lap of a track because this is the kind of thing that makes the trips like these worth it.
