While everyone’s fixated on whether F1 will be fun to watch this year, IndyCar is ramping up for its season opener next weekend.

In preparation for a first race in St. Petersburg, Florida, teams are testing out their cars to make sure they’re ready, luckily for us, we get to watch.

Rahal Letterman Lanigan Racing, along with its driver, Graham Rahal, brought their 2017-ready IndyCar out to Sebring International for a few laps to get the feel for the car before race day.

Someone strapped the visor cam on Rahal’s helmet so we get to see exactly what he does as he flies around the circuit at competition speeds. And you know how much we love visor cams.

IndyCar was also nice enough to overlay the g-force meter to give us a sense of the forces the driver experiences when cornering at speed.

In certain braking zones, Graham Rahal is feeling three times the force of gravity on his body. Wild.

Hop onboard and watch below as Grahan Rahal wheels his car around Sebring for the few flying laps in preparation for the 2017 season.
