Last weekend at the Daytona Speedway, Ferrari held its annual Finali Mondial event, where all sorts of the prancing-horse machinery came together to celebrate the brand.

The Italian automaker sat Formula One legend Kimi Räikkönen in the 488 GTB to give VIPs a taste of the track as they admired each other vehicles. As it turns out, one of those VIPS was famous Texas tuner, John Hennessey.

Hennessey got the chance to ride with Kimi for the single hot lap of the Daytona circuit. In preparation for this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity, the Texan set up no less than four different cameras to record every second. And after exchanging greetings, Hennessey immediately asks Kimi Räikkönen, What’s the craziest thing you’ve done in the car?

Even through his helmet, we can see Kimi’s caught off guard, and we are guessing having the phone camera stuck in his face isn’t helping the mood.

Even with the film rolling, the Finnish driver speeds off and lays down the perfect lap in total silence, as you would expect of the 2007 Formula One Champion known as Iceman. Hennessey narrates the entire thing as only he can, with the enthusiasm you would expect from a true car enthusiast.

We can’t think of two more different characters in the car world, but we are glad they ended up in the car together because the result is hilarious. As is often the case when Kimi Räikkönen takes you for a Ferrari hot lap.
