Universally recognized as one of the world’s most desirable supercars, the track-focused Lambo Aventador SV is certainly good at attracting people with video cameras. And thankfully, most of them know not to get in its path when it is about to launch, and especially if the driver is focused on that split-second moment when a red light turns green so he can release the brake pedal.
One of the cameramen filming the drag race had just finished getting the few shots of the cars from the front and thought that he could just casually stroll in front of the Aventador as if it wasn’t just about to blast off trying to conquer that Vette in the straight line.
We’re glad nobody got hurt because it was the pretty close call even with a driver reacting as well as he did – which by the way meant avoiding this cameraman while still keeping his vehicle in the race by simply lifting off slightly and not letting the rear end slide around too much after the initial evasive maneuver.
Oh, and if you are wondering why the Lambo sounds, even more bonkers than usual, it’s probably because of its Akrapovic exhaust system.
