With 612 hp and the whooping 850 Nm of torque driving all four of its wheels, this Mercedes-AMG E63 S is, on paper, quicker than both the BMW M6 and the Audi RS7.
Yet, this stock Mercedes-AMG E63 S is about to challenge tuned versions of its rivals: the RS7 is packing the GoshaTurboTech GTT750 power kit, whereas the BMW M6 is fitted with Evotech’s Stage 2 kit, they pack an identical 750 PS each. This automatically makes this Mercedes the underdog – or does it?
First up for the Merc is the Audi, and which doesn’t get off to the best of starts, yet climbs back into a race quite quickly, making this the pretty close affair in the end.
We won’t spoil it for you, but there was about the second between the two vehicles as they ran past the 1/2 mile finish line.
The race against the BMW M6 was even closer and was decided by less than half the second. Keep in mind, unlike the Audi, this BMW M6 doesn’t feature the all-wheel drive system to balance the terms of the duel with the Mercedes-AMG E63 S off the line.
