2016 Tesla Model S P100D finally found a match. Of course, it comes from Porsche. This is the Porsche 911 Turbo S – an all wheel drive car with fantastic launch control and a rather light body.
However, this one had some aftermarket modifications done to it. The owner tuned it a bit. It features a GIAC Tune, WERKs air intake, Tubi Exhaust, and Champion Intercoolers. All the new parts increased the power output to 600hp and 600 lb-ft of torque.
Still, it cannot match the power output of two electric motors in the Model S. Dual engine setup employs 503 hp rear engine and 259hp front engine. Obviously, the sedan has more power, but it is a whole lot heavier.
The results of the race are rather obvious. Porsche driver did have the best reaction time ever. His car surged taking the lead and never lost it again.
At the time it hit the quarter of a mile mark, the Porsche traveled at the speed of 127 mph while the Model S succeeded in reaching 121 mph. Watch the video for the times cloaked. We will only say, the incredible Tesla is a ten-second car. Despite losing, it is a car to be reckoned with.
