Supercars are becoming more digital with each new generation, and Aston Martin is one of the rare manufacturers who had the guts to keep doing things in a more traditional manner. However, with the DB9 going into retirement, will everything change?
That’s what we’re here to find out, as Matt Farah decided to review this beauty in his awesome show called one take. Luckily, the Aston designers were able to find the middle ground between the modern features and classic solutions, which means that the DB11 is a stunning automobile to behold.
The interior held up as well, as the unreliable Volvo satellite navigation is finally gone, being replaced by the one from Mercedes. Unfortunately, Aston also replaced the fabulous analog gages in favor of the digital ones, which work just fine, but lack the charm of the old hard-crafted units.
Under the hood we find a massive twin-turbo V12 monster producing 600 horsepower, which pushes this 4,000lbs sports car into another dimension when it comes to performances! Still has the Aston finally lost its soul? We’ll leave it up to you to decide!
