The week is coming to an end and in most places it is already too cold to go hang out with some buddies and drink a couple of chilled beers.
But that’s OK because it’s the perfect time for dirt drag racing. You know, like normal drag racing, but with more utilitarian-looking machines, and with big threaded tires and damp soil instead of sticky asphalt.
We found some footage with some Boggin’ at the Bottoms rounds hosted at the Muddy Bottoms ATV Park in Sarepta, Los Angeles, and we thought it would be cool to share it with you guys. Seeing some mud shoveled in the air by beefy tires looks really rewarding.
This event has some of the hardest hitting action ever in one location, with the races including Fast Track, Bog Pit mud races and Hill’n’Hole. And the Fast Track compilation bellow will show you some of the fastest back to back passes out there in the Cuts class, on the 200 ft (61 m) long track.
It might not be as ground-shaking and impressive as those 12,000 horsepower top fuel dragsters, but seeing how much grip these things get on loose ground might change your perspective of off-road vehicles.
Not that these are your standard off-roaders, as they look more like Mad Max vehicles, but still…
