10. 2013-2014 W Motors Lykan HyperSport: $3.4 Million

This $3.4 Million hypercar is indeed hyper in many many ways. It’s hyper off the line going from zero to 60 miles per hour in less than three seconds. Its hyper in its exclusivity with only eight of them being made. And it is hyper in its angular sharp looks.

The UAE-based W Motors, a new comer to the auro making world, has made a real name for itself in the supercar / hypercar market with the release of the Lykan HyperSport, the first Arab supercar or hypercar in the history of the world. The L HyperSport has a 239 miles per hour top speed, which, to be frank, is rather pedestrian for this category of vehicle.

However, there is no denying that its 3.7-liter twin-turbo F86 engine is truly impressive. But, now with all of that said, the thing that really sets the Lykan Hypersport apart from the rest of the really cool cars patrolling the planet are its headlights. These titanium LED blades are embedded with 15cts worth of diamonds. Oh, and if diamonds ain’t your thang, do not worry because you can select sapphires or rubies instead of the diamonds of yellow diamonds that would ordinarily come with your hypercar.

9. 2009-2012 Aston Martin One-77: $2.4 Million

When the Gods over at Aston-Martin designed their stunning $2.4 million Aston Martin One-77, they must have done so with the goal of out Aston Martin-ing themselves. And, this is something they successfully accomplished. The Aston Marin One-77 is a rare beast with only 77 of them ever being released.

With its carbon-fiber chassis, its hand-crafted aluminum bodywork, and active aerodynamics system, this sweet British supercar is lightweight and sleek at any speed. And, make no mistake about it, with its 750BHP naturally aspirated 7.3-liter V12 engine, the A.M. One-77 has got plenty of speed. It has also got plenty of coolness. In fact, it is so cool it is a featured car in many video games to include Need for Speed, GT racing, and Gran Turismo 6.

Inside, you, if you decide to purchase one, will be treated to your tunes being pumped out by a 1,000-watt Bang & Olufsen stereo that was specifically designed in conjunction with the Aston Martin team for this particular car. Each B & O speaker has been handcrafted and positioned to the exact dimensions of the car’s interior to convert it into a rolling concert hall. Dang, I want one of these cars just for the music. How about you?

8. 1966-1973 Lamborghini Miura: $2.6 Million

The $2.6 million (on the collectors market) 1966-1973 Lamborghini Miura has a sleek, futuristic shark look that you will either love or hate. This ride that was the world’s fastest production car when it first hit the road was such an envelope busting car because the Lambo engineers designed it while they were on break and without any approval or guidance from the Italian car company’s founder, Ferruccio Lamborghini.

That is why the Miura looks like a racecar, while other Lambos from this period and earlier look like and actually are stoic grand touring rides. However, the public and the motor press alike loved this mid-engine sports car so much when it was first unveiled in 1965, that it quickly became Lamborghini’s flagship car, an honor it held until Countach replaced it in 1974.

The Miura is such a special car not just because it changed Lamborghini, but because it changed the worldwide sports car industry. Sports car makers from all over followed the trail blazed by Lambo to build their own versions of high-performance, two-seater, mid-engine sports cars once they saw how crazy the car-loving public was for this ground-breaking car. How about you? Do you like the looks of this sleek sports car? We do!
