8. 2017 Lamborghini Centenario LP 770-4
If you are into massive engine sound, you WILL be into the 2017 Lamborghini Centenario LP 770-4. One of the reviewers over at MotorTrend have likened to standing 500 feet behind one of these yet-to-be-released hypercars as it “combatively” launches in Thrust mode with all three of its insane tailpipes fully engaged is akin to standing behind a jet fighter as it launches from the flight deck. That’s gotta be loud, real loud, don’t you think?
In fact, Lambo’s head of research and development says that this car was designed to satisfy those Lamborghini owners who have complained that their cars were simply not loud enough.
Unfortunately, for you and me, the 2017 Lamborghini Centenario LP 770-4 is a rare beast with it being a limited production model. Heck, there are more F-22 Raptor US military jet fighters patrolling the skies than there will be of these Italian-made hypercars racing the world’s highways.
The other bit of bad news is that this Italian hypercar is not exactly inexpensive. Actually, just the fact that you are reading this, probably means that you cannot afford it because if you had $2.2 million base price for one of these hypercars your butler would be reading this text to you while your optical masseuse tended to your eyes that have grown tired counting your stacks of greenbacks.
