14. 2017 Maserati Alfieri
If there is one thing we can all agree upon about the 2017 Maserati Alfieri, it is that it ain’t no friggin Volkswagen Beetle Dune. No sir, this Italian 2+2 grand tourer is gorgeous in its looks, gorgeous in its performance, and gorgeous in its comfort.
But, this car is not perfect. In fact, Harald Wester, Maserati CEO, has recently sad that Maserati’s future is making cars that are “adorable handcrafted imperfection.” However, finding the imperfections in this adorable 2017 Maserati Alfieri is difficult, very difficult.
For a car of its weight, the 2017 Maserati Alfieri is very powerful. Its heart, a twin-turbocharged 3.0-liter V6 engine, is the same engine that powers Maserati’s Quattroporte and Ghibli. Its base model will deliver at least 410 horsepower to its rear wheels, while the more powerful Alfieri will have four-wheel drive that will give it more traction and more quickness.
There are some rumblings in the automotive world from across the Pond that the Alfieri may also be available with other, more powerful, engines such as 450-horsepower and 520-horsepower models. These more powerful versions of the 2017 Maserati Alfieri will most likely only be available as four-wheel-drive models.
