Tuners across the globe have done all sorts of engine swaps on the Toyota 86. People have gone as far as dropping a V8 from the Ferrari 458 under the hood for one reason or another. However, this latest swap is by far the craziest.
Built by UAE-based shop called K.K Performance, this wildly modified Toyota 86 features the 5.0-liter 1GZ-FE V12 sourced from the Toyota Century in a place where its original 2.0-liter boxer four once sat.
If that isn’t enough, the engine also has four turbochargers mounted to the block, making for the absurd scene under the hood, as you can see in this video.
According to Youtube Channel Street FX Motorsport, a quad-turbo V12-powered 86 makes around 800 hp. The car features an aggressive widebody kit, along with custom front and rear bumpers.
It made its debut at the Emirates Custom Show last weekend. If you are a little skeptical about whether this vehicle can actually move or not, we are too.
Street FX Motorsport uploaded the video from the show of the engine running, which is more than nothing. So, you can watch it here. Hopefully the next time we hear the car running, it will be out on the road moving, and not just sitting around.
