A Tulsa man identified as 25-year old John Pinney stole a cop car and live streamed his entire joyride on Facebook!

The incident unfolded in downtown Tulsa along South Detroit Avenue when a patrol officer left her keys inside her unlocked cruiser to get some coffee. Minutes later, a woman called 911 and reported that she saw a man hopping into a police car, asking her if she wanted a ride in it and when she declined, the culprit sped off.

Pinney drove throughout Tulsa county while the police were in hot pursuit for over 30 minutes, and at some point the chase reached speeds of over 120 mph. It ended when Pinney lost the officers, got out of the stolen car, and sneaked into his parents’ house.

He has been arrested and he now faces nine charges including resisting arrest, false impersonation of a public officer, possession of a firearm by a felon, reckless driving, and not wearing a seat belt. Police said Pinney has a long criminal record which includes auto theft, assaulting officers and receiving stolen goods.
