1932 Ford Model B
From the time the Ford Model T hit production the vehicles of the time were clunky, low in power and in need of advancement. As a result, Ford began to brainstorm new ideas to advance company and the result were three impressive vehicles released between 1932-1934 known as the Model B, Model 18 & Model 40.
The Model B was the one that stood out the most due to it’s game changing features. The Model B brought power to cars for the first time thanks to it’s ’32 V8. Letting out only 65HP the power may not seem like a lot to modern drivers.
However that was completely revolutionary for it’s time and helped changed the game in the automotive industry. In addition to it’s new found power the new Ford also had style and overall better looks than many of the other vehicles on the road at the time.
In all aspects the Ford Model B helped advance the automotive industry while also making Ford even more popular as an automotive dealer. It is hard to say where we would be at today if the Ford Model B had never made it out to production. The 1932 Ford Model B was not only game changing in Ford’s history, but it also helped revolutionize the automotive world.
